James Cornish

Growing up in Montreal, summers were spent driving from circuit to circuit. Sundays were for parking lot autocrosses and winters were for watching ice racing. James has very fond memories attending motorsport races by his father’s side, this was a year round
event for them.

Later in life, James graduated with a degree in graphic design. While also studying photography within the technical program James developed his keen eye for photography. While motorcars have also been in the family for generations, this was a perfect time to explore and combine his dynamic creativity through the lens.

James’s work can be seen online and in magazines from Europe to North America and is very pleased to have my work shown here at The Pit Stop magazine.

Looking forward to the next race!

Dom Vincent

A 23 year old with a huge passion for motorsport. Having always been interested, I took up motorsport photography at the tail end of 2018 and started this journey.
Trying to splash my own unique take on the world of motorsport I like to experiment with my shots. Sometimes it works, sometimes not so. But it's all part of the fun, alongside being around pure bred racecars.
Nothing comes close to the atmosphere experienced at the track and I cannot wait to continue the next step of this amazing journey.
Matt Widdowson
Ever since visiting Daytona Raceway at the age of 10 all things fast and loud have fascinated me. As well as an avid Sim Racer and Karter I try to attend as many motorsport events as I can manage to fuel my passion for motorsport photography. With Press Pass access to the British Touring Car Championship and the 2018 Monaco Historique Grand Prix being a highlight! Plans to attend 2020's Le Mans 24 Hour were sadly scuttled but here is to hoping for 2021!

PHD Photo
PHD photo was created in 2020 as an outlet for the work I had being producing. Having captured images at events from Prescott, Goodwood, BTCC through to the 24 hours of Le Mans there was an ever growing portfolio that I wanted to share more widely.

I first picked up a 35mm camera to capture cycling shots of the Tour de France travelling across the route taking in places like; Alpe d'Huez, Mont Ventoux and Paris. Only having a limited number of exposures meant quickly learning to make every frame count, looking for the image others were ignoring and not wasting frames, a way of working I carried over into the world of digital.

I was introduced to the world of motorsport by pals who were adamant it was the best thing since sliced bread. I was instantly wowed by the experiences I was having and wanted more. The speed, intensity and unrivalled joy and passion. In 2016 the journey to capture quality motorsport images began. Experiencing four seasons in one day at Spa, the sheer size of Le Mans and through it all; the awesomeness of the motorsport family; a unique band of men and women chasing the ultimate prize.

There is nothing like being around a motorsport paddock or out on track, capturing the art, people, senses and emotions of the automotive worlds of WEC, BTCC, Goodwood, Le Mans and more. It is something very special and I appreciate every moment.

Stacy Guiney / Suberashi Auto Photo

Motorsport shooter, Worcestershire based and took to motorsport photography later in life. Loved motorsport all my life but didn’t connect the dots to photography and the sport. It took me a while, but hey, I’m here now!

About: Stacy has a distinctive style capturing the fluid movement found in motorsports. Favouring longer exposures and offset focal points makes for dramatic scenes, sure to catch the eye.

Lee Holt

So where do I start to tell the story of me? Hi I'm Lee Holt or Holty to everyone that knows me. I'm a qualified HGV mechanic from Worcester, making me pretty central to some of the best arenas, race circuits and hill climbs the UK has to offer.

When I was growing up I always loved anything car related from classics to supercars and especially motorsport. My favourite series being both the BTCC and V8 Supercars. After discovering a passion for photography around six years ago, I decided to combine both of my favourite things which is how I got into motorsport and automotive photography and why I developed Holty Photography. I've been very fortunate to have been able to work with some great companies and photographers and I’ve had some incredible opportunities as a result. I look forward to what the future holds and what I can capture.
